About The Hague

The Hague is the Royal residence and governmental capital of the Netherlands and only 25 minutes from Amsterdam Schiphol Airport by train. Schiphol Airport is an international airport with direct flights to all major European cities. Dutch public transport is readily available and has wide coverage.
After Barak Obama's visit to The Hague and the World Forum for the nucleair security summit they are ready to meet us!

The Hague is a beautiful, attractive, historic city behind the dunes that merges an intriguing mixture of culture, international flavor (by presence of embassies, consulates and the International Court of Justice) and a beautiful seashore. The monumental buildings, palaces and museums like the Mauritshuis (e.g. the Girl with the pearl earring of Johannes Vermeer and paintings of Rembrandt, Jan Steen en Breughel) contrast with modern architecture.

Because of the many attractions, and the highly varied collection of shops, galleries, museums and restaurants, The Hague is the second most popular tourist destination of the Netherlands for many years now. You will find hotels in all price ranges. The World Forum Congress Center is located approximately 10 minutes by public transport from the beach on the one hand and the city center on the other.
